From Benjamin L.

Fujitsu MHT2040AH laptop disk
Events:
The computer was on the ground and a person accidentally kicked the side of the computer (exactly where the hard drive is located).
Recovery Attempts (3 months ago):
1.) Used an enclosure to try to extract data. Failed.
2.) Tried to bypass the OS by booting Linux from a CD. Failed.
3.) Sent it to a hard drive specialist's company. They couldn't do it for under $500, so I got it back. Failed.
However, the actual hard drive was never manually tampered with.
After recovery:
THANK YOU! Got it all back, looks perfect...

Hitachi IC25N040ATMR04 laptop disk
Drive missing in BIOS at system start. No other recover attempted as data is too precious! Drive simply removed from Gateway laptop and mounting chassis removed.
After recovery:
Many thanks folks!
My friends will be delighted and the photo file directories you have
recovered look to be exactly what they were looking for! MARVELLOUS!
ONCE AGAIN, THANK YOU!

Toshiba MK2018GAP laptop disk
Drive failed to boot, started making grinding sound.
After recovery:
Hello,
I'm very pleased with the outcome of your recovery services. The Hitachi HDD-clone 'did' work and a 40 gig instead of the original 20 gig, thanks. All is well which ended well and I'll recommend your company to others that might end up in such a situation.
Prosperity to you all,
Gary
