Major Failure: Not spinning.
My IT department suspects the motor failure. The disk wasn't opened and got all original parts. No recovery attempts have been made.

The green power light comes on, the disk spins up, makes the usual access type noises, then nothing happens; disk keeps spinning (no strange noises. The amber access light comes on and/or goes off, depending on how/when I plug in the Firewire cable.
