The green power light comes on, the disk spins up, makes the usual access type noises, then nothing happens; disk keeps spinning (no strange noises. The amber access light comes on and/or goes off, depending on how/when I plug in the Firewire cable.

The drive is recognized by the BIOS, some folders can not be accessed. We get an I/O error or eplorer.exe error when we try to access particular folders. Recovery attempts were to hang the drive as a slave off of others computers and to try an external USB connection.

• We got the drive with all the data on it, so far it looks great, nothing is missing or corrupted. Once again your help is much appreciated. We certainly will keep using your company for our recovery needs...
