Drive was responding very slowly. OS X drive utilities reported Super Block missing. The alternate super block was also bad. Used Necleus software to attempt recovery. Software retrieved most files. However, all files were size 0. Shortly after this the drive starting clicking and was completely non-responsive.

Drive is failed in OS. I was using my external and had shut it off because I did not need it at the time. When I turned it back on, my computer system (Windows XP) wouldn't read it and my password screen didn't come up.
