Major Failure: Clicking or noisy sound.
The hard drive been sent to Seagate for an evaluation. Their price was over $3000 to recover. You are my last and the only hope to get my family memories (photos & movies) back at the affordable cost.

Windows 'sees' the drive. Maxtor software can give the drive parameters. The drive appears to spin. I believe the drive over heated. No recovery attempts other than trying on different PCs and at different times.
