The drive in question was set as a slave drive. The operator system on the Primary drive had to be reinstalled. The slave drive was removed from the computer and the Primary drive was formatted when the operating system was reinstalled. The slave drive was then put back into the machine and the operating system only saw the drive as having a capacity of 120GB. Because of the errors we decided all of the data off of the slave drive. The files were put onto an external drive. After verifying that the files were readable on the external drive we deleted them from the slave drive. We then decided to copy the two main directories. This is when the folders appeared empty...

The crash occurred during the copying some data from another computer to RAID; everything froze; after rebooting nothing came up - just a clicking sound from one of RAID hard drives.
