We had bad weather, Computer was plugged into UPS. I shut down the machine as a precaution and it never booted up again the next day. The drive is recognized correctly in the Bios, There is no clicking and the drive seems to be spinning from what I can tell. I put the drive in a working machine to try to recover data, Windows saw the drive in the device manager, but disk management won't detect it or put it online, My Computer doesn't show it either.

Got error message writing to drive. Reboot computer and got drive failure message on BIOS screen. Secondary master- Maxtor Calypso_YAR43KJ7
Tried viewing hard drive in friend's computer and it was inaccessible there also. Does not show up in my computer windows explorer or computer management interface.
