We had bad weather, Computer was plugged into UPS. I shut down the machine as a precaution and it never booted up again the next day. The drive is recognized correctly in the Bios, There is no clicking and the drive seems to be spinning from what I can tell. I put the drive in a working machine to try to recover data, Windows saw the drive in the device manager, but disk management won't detect it or put it online, My Computer doesn't show it either.

Thank YOU guys for your services, Ron

Drive makes CLICKING sound; data not accessible. Drive has many work projects on, that I need back. I could really use your skills, than go back to square one: recreate the files by hand.

Thank you so much for recovering my data, you cannot imagine how many hours of work you saved me, if I had to restore those files from scratch... WOW
Regards,
Ken

The laptop would not boot, Bios sees it - I tried to repair with windows disk. I can see the folders in command prompt. Took it out and hooked to a desktop with an adapter but my computer would not boot with it in there, had it set to cable select on secondary SATA port but its locking up my machine for some reason. Wondering, do you think you can get the data from this corrupted drive?

Result OK, looks good!
